Operating;
A focus on action to meet the immediate situation (with a time horizon from minutes to months) that requires standard procedures and structures with an expectation of prompt, measurable results. Usually it has a relatively clear linkage between cause and effect and contains much hard data often conveniently available for decision making.;
Operating Efficiency;
A ratio (percentage) of the actual output of a department as compared to the desired or planned output.;
Optimization;
Achieving the best possible solution to a problem in terms of a specified objective function.;
Organization;
1. a group of people identified by shared interests or purpose, for example a business 2. the coordinating of separate elements into a unit or structure 3. the relationships that exist between separate elements arranged into a coherent whole 4. efficiency in the way separate elements are arranged into a coherent whole ;
Organizational Engagement;
This is the measurable extent to which employees in an enterprise are both aligned with and emotionally attuned to the values, goals, strategies and tactics of their enterprise. “Engagement” thus goes beyond purely intellectual alignment towards real emotional attachment. In the case of a truly customer centric enterprise, every employee must know how to balance their familiarity with their customers (i.e. with data) against how committed they are to delivering customer focused end results (i.e. in their personal actions).;
Organizational Inclusion;
Related to Organizational Engagement, all employees in an “included organization” will feel valued for their personal contributions - regardless of race, religion, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, marital status etc.;
