Summary:First rate & practical guide to the development of participative, open bounded, knowledge focused & thus innovative organizations.

First rate & practical guide to the development of participative, open bounded, knowledge focused & thus innovative organizations. The work leans heavily on the new science of complexity. Features challenging questions to ask of yourself and your organization as you "co-evolve" to a more effective & competitive place. My main critique is that, to truly "see the coarse grained" big picture (as the authors rightly advocate) we need to spend much more time understanding the impact of value systems & organizational culture - a subject the authors bypass. Still, possibly the best practical business book in the field today.
